Boston Rally 2007

On Saturday Oct. 27, 2007, some Waronoke Peace Action Group members
joined with Westfield State College Students for Peace & Justice
members in Boston at the New England Mobilization to End the War in
Iraq.
The event included a noon rally on Boston Common,
with many distinguished speakers in attendance, followed by a march at
2:00 p.m.
Trudy reported that "the Boston rally was inspirational. Students from
all over the Northeast marched together. It was wonderful to see the
student peace movement begin to take hold. Howard Zinn continues to
tell the truth and inspires us all with his tireless work."
